1. The "Zero-Risk" Declaration

MockBid is a pure simulation environment. We do not connect to live ad accounts, we do not spend real currency, and we do not transmit data to Google or Meta's production servers. Your performance metrics are generated by our proprietary AI simulation engine.

2. Data Collection (The Minimalist Approach)

As a "Privacy-First" company, we only collect what is strictly necessary to run the simulation:

  • Identity Data: Name and Email (for account login and progress tracking).
  • Simulation Metrics: Campaign structures, "virtual" bids, and ad copy (stored to generate your performance reports).
  • Institutional Context: If you are part of a school/institute, we link your account to their organization ID so your instructor can grade your performance.

3. Data Fiduciary & The "DPDP" Compliance (India)

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act of 2023/2026, MockBid acts as the Data Fiduciary.

  • Purpose Limitation: Your data is used only for educational simulation and platform improvement.
  • Right to Erasure: You can delete your account at any time via the "Settings" tab. All associated "virtual" campaign data is purged within 30 days.
  • Grievance Redressal: As a lean team, we take this seriously. Any data concerns can be sent directly to our lead developer at [email protected].

4. Third-Party "Tech-Stack" Transparency

We don't sell data. We only share it with the tools required to keep the lights on:

  • Infrastructure: Hostinger (Secure Cloud Servers).
  • Payments: Razorpay/Stripe (Encrypted payment processing).
  • Analytics: We use anonymized tracking to see which features are most used, helping us build the next version.

5. Educational Guardrails

MockBid is for learning. While our simulation logic is high-fidelity, real-world market conditions vary. By using this platform, you acknowledge that simulated ROAS does not guarantee real-world success.
